Helen Collingwood Iris

This Iris won the 'Award of Merit' in 1952. Where was I at the time? I wasn't!

I can see why it won an award the markings and colours are wonerfu.
Like you I was just a twinkle in my dad's eye lol.

Thank you Thrup. This one comes with a fragrance which isn't too common in bearded irises. I'm sure that's part of it's fame. It smells like lilacs.
