So far this hasn't wilted, but 2 plants along, Britt Marie Crawford with the large leaves is gasping for water.

Wow, great. Mine isn't quite flowering yet.
Re the wilt, I've read it's not necessarily lack of water, it's the sun they don't like, ive often wondered when I watered mine why they didn't perk up.

I divided mine two years ago and it bloomed wonderfully last year... it's beside the stream, so water is nearby. It's going to be terribly hot today (and forecast for the next 4 days) so I will have to keep an eye. I lost my L. Othello, and Desdemona. They didn't last more than three years and I think it was the freeze thaw of April that killed them, .but I'm hopeful as the stream is lined with their progeny! Mine are in full sun, late afternoon shade. They seem to be happy with that. BTW plants will also wilt from too much water. We're just starting with the heat you have had. They say it's going to get worse (hotter) before it gets better. sigh..frozen to limp within a month!
