I knew this one was a colonizer Lori hence the planting in an armagnac barrel! But its just perfect for my shady north facing little terrace and so pretty with those red young leaves. And yes I've already given several offshoots away

I bought one plant (gallon container so I think it was 2nd year) I planted it in a field. One thing they don't tell you right up front is that this beauty, as pretty as it is...is a colonizer! In the field it's a non-issue... I have about six little plants establishing very well and VERY quickly. Just a note so that when it stages it's coup, you're prepared! Looks like your garden is thriving.
