They have just revived after the rain. They were wilting badly a few days ago. One of them has started to die off.

The heat got to a lot of ours, so the small amount of flowers we did have were soon over! roll on next year lol!!

Having the same problem here with the phlox. I adore them but they're sparse this year by comparison. They've wilted twice and they say three strikes and you're out! Thankfully, I carry water rations from the waterbutt to help them. It's very smokey today. Forest fires in Parry Sound. (I come from Muskoka, just south of there.) And here in Eastern Ontario... We need rain, again!

B y the sounds of things the Parry Sound fire is under control...We've had more lightening storms since though. Had some rain along with the storm, but not nearly enough.

I'm glad to know it's under control. I hope the lightening doesn't start any additional fires.
No rain here again, just some dampness in the air yesterday morning. Back to blazing glary sunshine today :(
