The first flower from Cobaea scandens opening today. The weird thing is that these two plants were cuttings from the first ones I grew this year but no flowers on them yet just tiny, tiny buds. When they got to about eight feet I cut some pieces and stuck them in a pot, et voila!

Nor did I Hywel but it was growing too tall and I'm one of those "can't throw it away" gardeners so stuck some of the pruned pieces in a pot to give it a try and it worked. I have more coming now from a couple of weeks ago. I worked out the stem colour tells me if it's the white or purple flowers.
