I was a little surprised to see one of my bromeliads has decided to flower.

The best part is, that I can grow this outside. I set up an area with a lot of shade and put all the broms out there. I am waiting to see if this develops more, because all the photos on the net show it at this stage.

There is a down side to warm winters - I would love to grow tarragon, but it needs a very cold rest. Tarragon is one of my favorite herbs, so I have to go to places like Amazon and get it by the kilo.

It's a shame you have nt a large fridge to give it the cold spell and grow it in a pot putting the pot in the fridge.

I have the plain green Wylie. In about 15 years,a single plant has become a near 6' round clump. Looks good near or under tall palms.
