Wonderful picture Bathgate. The butterflies in your garden certainly like this pink flower.

One of the mysteries of this world Linda - how a caterpillar changes into a totally different creature, yet they still remember their lives as a caterpillar - knowing which plants are important and knowing when it's time to fly to Mexico. How do they know about Mexico?
Thorneyside - Zinnias are known magnets for pollinators.
Thanks Julia - just being in the right place at the right time.

Lovely photo Paul. The closer you get the more detail you pick up and for their short life it is incredible how they change from a caterpillar, to this wonderful, colourful butterfly that is so different. The caterpillar that eats foliage, changing to a flying butterfly that sucks nectar....amazing.
