I think someone is going to be busy putting in all these new plants.

They have been potted up Waddy ... I need to decide where to plant them! OH just raised his eyebrows when I told him that!

That's just what I want to hear Sheila! No gardening this week as we have been stripping wallpaper from the lounge walls ... hateful job. As OH will be going to a match tomorrow I have allotted the day to being in the garden. Surprising how much needs dead-heading .....

Yes - I’ve been deadheading like there’s no tomorrow, and am so tired of it. Maybe I won’t grow Cosmos next year (the worst culprit!).

Despite how pretty Cosmos are they DO need constant dead-heading don't they Sheila? I got the shears and loppers out to cut back some shrubs that had grown too tall. There is a Holly bush I would love to make into a 'Lollipop' shape so have started on that. Hopefully I haven't cut too much off ...

We took ours out in the end it became enormous.....pretty though!

Chris, that is so true about the Cosmos. The white ones seem to be the worse for needing dead-heading so I shall stick with pink next year!
