Cornus Midwinter Fire

The ones I bought are looking sad. I just can’t seem to get hold of a decent sized young plant. They always arrive looking like refugees from a bad plant sale! I’ll try again this year and see if I can get decent ones.

That’s a shame Karen. Mine is a standard, just the way it was on purchase. I hope you get a good one, essential for your golden Border.

Lovely specimen Dawn. Mine is only 2ft, but looking OK for its first year . . . it also has tiny white flowers, is that normal?

Sheila, I have a small one too and I noticed today that has small flowers, more yellow than white. My cornus alba each year have flowers. I must check this one.

Ours has white flowers.....but still green leaves here!

Actually I should have said the flowers are cream . . .
