Siris this is more or less it's normal flowering time,however there is another one (the name escapes me ) similar and I believe it flowers earlier in the year.

They are supposed to come easy from seed ,this year there are lots if they are not to late to ripen or if the squirrels leave them alone, there are pods to be seen far right of the picture

I have tried many times to grow this but with out success. I think the slugs get to it first.

they can be a problem early on but once they are up a couple of feet slugs here move on to something more tender.
this one produced masses of seed late on this year have taken some to see f they will ripen

What a picture. Is this a second flush of flowers? Mine flowered late spring, now is dormant. It does this each year.
