Planting my aquarium.

I wish the top was open..but its a large aqaurium and I suppose the covering is needed to hold the tank together. Nonetheless,I have Acorus,Hypoestes,and Ficus "emerald island"...growing out of the cutouts. The roots are bare of soil..its all water roots.
I'm going for the indoor tropical stream look.
I've had this aquarium since the 80's.

Just put some small fish like White Clouds Lori ( they take cooler water also) and lots of light for the plants. The fish will be easy to keep,spawn and add a few more. Have something subtropical in the far north for winter.

I'll have to post a pic of my AQ... it's empty. That looks wonderful, Stan. mine is 60 gallons. But I'm done with aquaria.... welllll, maybe.
