They're going to look lovely, Amy. The Cercis canadensis Forest Pansy was one of my first three too, a lovely contrast to all the 'greens'. Great choices!

Yes it's great having Baby Ryan :-). I've moved him though so no doubt that will have slowed him down but he's fine

Forest Pansy has gorgeous heart shaped leaves - excellent shade tree.

Grown up Ryan is in Reykjavik hoping to see the Northern Lights Dawn ,he's not so little anymore :o))
I'm really looking forward to the Forest Pansys first show of foliage Paul ...

It's quite a tree. You will get the flowers first on bare wood, then the foliage. I had to cut mine down because it got way too big for it's space (my mistake).

Oh NO Really Paul ? I'm trying to buy smaller much more sensible for our smaller garden here ..I'll have to lob some branches off if it comes to it ...

22 Jan, 2019

It should top out at 30 feet h x 30 feet w. Not huge, but I had it too close to my Red Maple which is hogging the whole back garden.

22 Jan, 2019

Thanks for the info Paul ,I expect it will take a few years to reach that height ...
