What a beautiful description Paul , I can almost smell it ...

Nothing like it Amy, but could be really strong at times.

Gardenias reminds me of my grandmother on my mother's side. She planted a gardenia in the garden in front of the bedroom window. I remember waking up and feeling the scent of flowers. She would not allow the flowers to be harvested. But sometimes she took some to my great-grandmother's grave.

Wow, special memories. I can usually smell them before I can see them when I visit my brother in Florida. The fragrance is wafting through the streets.

Interesting. I've been to Florida several times, visiting different cities, I can not remember gardenias. Too bad I could not see or scent them.
