Oh Thanks Thorneyside ! :) There's my great-grampa on the left now the right way around :)
He looks very short, typical of my grandfather's family ... my mother was only 4 foot 10 ins .

This photo must have been taken in the late 1890s or around 1900.
I believe Mr Thomas the owner of the shop must be the man with the bowler hat. He doesn't look like he's ready for any work lol ...

I like the reflection in the window of the buildings on the other side of the road. I will have to try and work out exactly where this was.
