winter aconites

Signs of Spring, having skipped Winter.

Today I saw the first Daffodil buds of 2019! They were in the school grounds where our granddaughter goes. They were still green & about 6" high so a fair way to go yet! But amongst the first signs that, even in the middle of January spring is only about 10 weeks away!

How about we do a countdown - like is done for Christmas saying it's only 10 weeks to Spring? 😀

Fabulous , I'm sure I brought a pot with me ,I wonder where I planted them ,oh dear I shall be out searching for them tomorrow ...

there is still plenty of time for winter though. I find Feb tends to be the worst month for cold and snow. But 10 weeks as a countdown is a lovely idea.
