Gosh what a fabulous plant ,absolutely loaded with blooms ..

Another beauty is this the one I sent you Brian golden Lotus. ?

Thrupennybit wish it was I still have it but has never made a large plant one or two flowers is all it manages each year.it is a plant that although it is in a shaded spot is prone to weather damage, I would suspect they were micro propagated based on there size when we received them,and based on my experience with trying to get the best of my primulas micro prop some years ago the idea is bad more often than good

The first year mine was alright Brian it did nt grow as big as my others then each year after that no flowers just covered in black spots all over the leaves year after year so I had it dug out last year and thrown in the bin. Thank you enlightening me about micro propagated I shall be careful in future and check what I am buying is not micro propagated.

one the problems of buying on line, they won't tell you and it is not always obvious although when a grower appears to have large quantities being sold in small pots fairly cheap and it is something that you know would not be likely to reproduce true from seed there is a good reason to be suspicious,not always the case but often.

The Golden Lotus was nt cheap Brian so like you say you can never tell.
