Thank you this one has been out for about a month now we have two more but they are very slow, but much brighter, the flowers are quite sparse on this one, most probably my pruning!!

mine died and I haven't got round to replacing it. but I do like them.

There's one along our road in flower with last year's fruit still on it.

Lovely flowers DD the neighbour across the road to me has one and that's full of flowers. Quince Jelly later on?

May I ask, can all varieties of Chaenomeles be trained to climb? Thanks

Dawn, they don't actually climb, they spread, but can be pruned back hard....
Lindak we can get lots of flowers, but we don't always get the fruit, didn't have enough to make jelly last year...
Seaburn, I thought they were fairly tough!!
