That's an interesting looking stone - looks rather like a piece of old wall. Do you know anything about it?

You can see for miles up here DD. Don't know about the standing stone Sterra, but perhaps at one time they quarried stone from here.

Rushed off to ask Mr Google . It said its 20 feet high - and quarried gritstone .
Goodness it doesn't look that big in the photo! (forgive my curiosity - rather interested in standing stones and wondered if it was a very old one.)

Yes I know Lindak when I was married we use to go to Derbyshire a lot for trips out even Matlock before it became a fun park. Did you know back in the day it was a part of Wales .
