That's terrible! Did your house flood?

we are on a hill and you'd think that would make a difference but went down to the basement this morning and there's 6 inches of water on the floor! Had to get out the pumps. Never had that kind of a flood before and it's not over yet. Tomorrow is forecast to be in the mid teens C. It's been so long coming. I just hope it doesn't mean instant mosquitoes and blackflies... LOL...i sound like Calamity Jane!

thanks D1 and Meadow: it looks like our spring, long delayed, is going to be a cold one. Night time temps forecast for the next week or so are going to be hovering above and below the freezing mark. minus 3 tonight. The poor little shoots, bulbs and buds... It's amazing how spring frosts seem less harmful than autumn ones.
