Purple flowers on this Shooting Star to replace lost one last year.

Haven't seen mine this year either - must have not liked the hot, dry summer

Strange, my lost purple one was growing close to my thriving white one. Hope this purple does better.

Amy, my white one has enlarged considerably, flowered and is now setting seed, so I'm assuming that the purple has gone.
