Thanks Sheila, Kate and Shirley, this little Robin got caught in our pea net and we had to cut the netting away, he's not afraid of us now and he's very active feeding his youngsters.

Lovely. I get the feeling that a split second later & he'd be gone

I take a few shots while he's there and hope for the best Darren. He visits about 4 - 5 times flitting backwards and forwards to his nest. He does this several times in the day.

I haven't seen the robin in my garden for a while but that may be because of the very busy family of blue tits defending the feeders.
I'm in urban Manchester so the 500 cats on my street don't help...

That's a shame you haven't seen a Robin, but it's good that you have the Blue Tits around, Darren. Having cat's around doesn't help, but it's their natural instinct to catch birds and mice. We have a cat that visits us and it tried to sneak up on the birds, but we have taught it....not in my garden....We used to keep cats....Siamese and we taught them not to catch the birds, a lot of time spent in the garden with them saying..... no
