Linton Zoo is only 3 miles down the road from me and it took me 13 years to visit it. To my amazement it is part of an international breeding scheme for endangered species to keep the gene pool healthy for captive animals.
Holds - amur tigers, lions, black panther, snow leopard, leopard, tapir, zebra, African porcupine, toucan........

What a beautiful picture of a wonderful animal. I have been to Linton Zoo several times. It is only 3 miles from my house too!

It's some years since I visited Linton Zoo.
Its good to know they're still working hard to help endangered species.
