Lovely combination Stan. I had a Campsis bought for me about 20+ years ago. Not one single flower ever! A couple of years ago I dug it up and got rid of it but would you believe it, small pieces of root must have been left behind and it's growing again.Just one small flower like the ones in your pic would make me happy.

I wish it hadn't been a foggy mornings. Also to the far right a Mimosa tree is getting ready to bloom. Blue Jacaranda and pink Mimosa. Could be more photos soon!

After a poor May here Penny ( and in the UK I hear) it's been a good June. It tailed off for a couple of days but back to the pleasant 78f or 25C range this weekend. Not too hot.

The best Jacaranda pics are taken in cloudy weather. Perfect contrast! Sunny days the Jacaranda flowers blend into the sky. My huge Jacaranda tree is still flowering and the Megaskepasma with its scarlet bracts go well together, also.

I bet you get hummers to the Mega?

Yes, lots of hummingbirds around, all the time.
