This hasn't liked being in a large pot, so I put it in the ground at the beginning of spring and it finally flowered. This has been moved into the Aloiampelos genus.

I know there are large patches of different Aloes around here that do get large, but people like them, so it wouldn't be hard to give away pieces if I had to reduce its size.

I have a small yard. I've seen them where there is plenty of room for a 6'x10' wide clump. Impressive in bloom.
Pruning them like I had to eventually stopped most of the flowering cycle. So,I just removed the whole plant that came from just one cutting years before.
