Yes, I think so too, Shirley! this is the second season for it here in my garden... it survived the winter and the spring freeze-thaw but there certainly aren't as many plants as there were last season. It's in some of the sandiest soil on the property, it's not very fertile so the phacelia can help me establish a thriving bed of irises, I hope. It is very pretty though...I can stand a carpet of phacelia.

I saw fields of this a while ago and was told it is used as a green manure. A lovely sight!
