Tradescantia

Is it the dreaded wondering Jew (Tradescantia fluminensis)?
I have this popping up everywhere in my yard. I'm constantly pulling it out!

lol never heard it called that, but I guess it is.

It's the common name for most Tradescantia. I just read that Trandscantia flumeninesis is pretty tropical so this one is probably another species.

I'm amazed by how quickly it spreads. I only have it for that intense shade of blue.

Does it grow all year?

No, starts up in June and goes through most of the summer and fall. It spreads like a green cloud. I really hate it.
