Dragonfly

Great capture Paul. They’re fascinating aren’t they ... we were privileged to see dozens by the lagoon in Stanley Park, Vancouver.

Thank you Sheila. I've always been fascinated with insects. Dragonflies are one of my faves and this one is completely transparent. Your trip to Stanley Park sounds amazing. I'm sure you have many good memories.

Well captured Paul. We've seen bright blue Damsel flies, one or two Demoiselle dragonflies with the black spot on their wings and the large Hawker dragonflies. It never ceases to amaze me how these creatures spend life under the water and then they emerge to dry off and then fly, and capture their prey on the wing.
