Praying Mantis

These really make me shudder! I do try to love insects, but other than bees and ladybirds, i can't say I succeed. The last few weeks have been quite uncomfortable with flies and the resulting bites all over us here.

Well these a very people friendly. I'll often let them crawl up my arm and hitch a ride to the aphid infested plant.

For many years I was afraid of praying mantis, believing they were poisonous.
Although I already know they are not, even so I wouldn't be confortable with some crawling my hands.
