Apologies for the quality of the picture as I took it from inside the house through the window. Once it had a quick drink it headed off up those steps onto the bund.
Quite rare for us as we live in the city, although right next to the Humber estuary. My neighbour did spot one last week, heading off with a wood pigeon.

Thanks Julia and Wildrose. We’ve seen the odd one now and then, difficult to get a photo sometimes. One did run off with one of our seed feeders once! Confident I guess. Must be more so than country foxes.
This is a colourful one, Wildrose!

Lovely to catch sight of it Kate and well done for getting a photo ,I believe they are more common in cities now due to plenty of throw-away food , we had a beautiful one before we moved he had the most gorgeous huge tail he lived on the rabbits in the field in front of us ..

Thanks Amy and Linda, they are lovely, especially the colour of their fur! I think I nearly fell downstairs trying to get a snap of it, once I’d fetched the camera! It spotted me, gave me a look then tootled off up the steps. Sounds like a really lovely one you had where you lived before, Amy!

Funny isn't it. I live in the countryside but have never seen a fox anywhere near my garden!

That is odd isn’t it! Wonder if it’s because there is so much for them around you? Our urban fox may have to come close to scavenge?

Yes, perhaps so Kate.
