It must be terrifying to have your land invaded by soldiers from another country and not knowing what was going to happen to your home and your family and friends. Why can't the world reconcile it's differences and live together on this planet in unity and love, helping one another rather than fighting about who owns what. There seems to be so much injustice today, but between all the bad things going on there are a lot of good people helping this planet with the wildlife, the environment and the different situations and disasters that happen to people. They are heroes and sometimes never get a mention.

This is a photo of a wall notice in the museum, Marguerite. You are right, Linda. At the Museum, I was thrilled to learn more about the Dig for Victory campaign of WW2, and the Women's Land Army. Heroes and heroines on the Home Front, indeed.
