Perenial wallflower

Is it 'Bowles Mauve' ,Lindak ? it looks like it.I'm constantly cutting mine back to new foliage lower down,and it just keeps on flowering to what seems forever .so easy to take cuttings from too :o)

I agree, it is one of the 'hardest workers' in the garden!! This is a lovely close up photo.

Yes Bloomer you're right and exactly what you say about taking cuttings. I do this every year and give some away too. Thanks Wildrose...the butterflies and bees love the flowers.

Thanks DD and Kate. I've just planted the rooted cuttings I took in the summer into the flowerbeds for next year.

Thanks HB. This plant doesn't seem to mind being anywhere in the garden and I keep cutting the old flowers off and it keeps on flowering.
