Lol, from the angle of the photo I thought it was a picture of a grave at first!

You are lucky. There hasn't been any seaweed washed up here for ages and there used to be a lot. Wonder what's happened to it. I put some round a smallish hydrangea one year and it took off like a rocket!
There's a fresh water stream runs over the beach and so its easy to wash the salt off before bringing it home - if there ever is any!

Lol, Your right Steragram it does look like a grave. That photo shows only one third of my plot. I normally wash the seaweed but this time I did not. On that section of the plot I planted potatoes called Orla this season a lovely big tasty potato with a very light skin, which makes it easy for snails.

The snails ruined half my crop this year. That why I did not wash the seaweed hoping that the rain will wash out the salt into the soil and it might help will help to get rid of the snails. I do try to keep the plot organic. I did try planting other varieties but sadly with the same results. I will give it one more try next season and if it does not do the job I will just have to give up planting potatoes.
