They are sloowww Karen, had them 5 years, they’ve almost doubled in height but still skinny

I'm glad it's not just mine! I've had mine in for five years too and they were about 3' whips when planted. And they are a lot shorter than yours, but possibly a bit wider...but maybe not.

They aren't the quickest Birches when it comes to growing are they Dawn? The plain Jacquemontii grows far more quickly here. But gorgeous bark though, which is better earlier than on the plain Jacquemontii.
