Any ideas, it’s similar to Geranium, quite trailing

Thanks Karen, I’m pretty sure I didn’t plant them as one is in a random place, it’s fascinating really how things appear, the wild strawberry has popped up in some places too a long way off the original plant.

it is certainly a geranium. I was hoping it would be wood cranesbill but the leaves are wrong for that. how tall is it? But as you know seed can 'hide' in compost of other plants etc.
have you G phaeum in the woods? I find it does very well under the beech tree in mine. add that to the list for feb if you would like some. mine is the purplish one 'Sambour'

Thanks Seaburn, it's quite flat to the ground with the flower stems rising about 6 inches, it looks like a runner. Thank you I have Sambour already but if you needed to clear some out, more than welcome :-)

Loking again, I think the leaves are wrong....too sharply divided.

Karen, the leaves are very dull, flat colour, slightly grey and the flowers pink rather than mauve, I'll get more pictures next year.

It certainly looks like a geranium Dawn. Lovely! I’ll have a look at my Sarah Raven later for you. :)
