Belper is a lovely town to live in and we have loads of countryside around.

It sounds like a lovely place to live being surrounded by country side.

We have a good lot of small shops and I get my meat from the local butcher once every three months. I phone him in an order and he bags it up for me then I bring it home and freeze it.

That's the best of living in close communities that are not commercialised you get to know your butchers etc like friends where you dont get that in big supermarkets .

I do use the supermarket but support the shops as well Thrupennybit.

Me to I get my meat from a local butcher also use supermarkets for bits and Bob's.

Belper won best high street this year.

I shall be looking out for it in the press this year. It gives you a good feel factor when you live in such areas.
