Growing a cat

I just received some hibiscus plants, and wanted to have them adjust to their new climate, so I hooked up the big grow lights in my bedroom. Below the set up is a heating pad. The white sheet of foam hangs down to where it doesn't block the air vents, but does block a lot of the light getting into the room where the TV is. I have just the grow lights on, and not the bloom lights. Snakes, the cat, must think it is a nice, warm, sunny day while hiding in some bushes.

Are they Hibiscus trionum? Love them, and they make masses of seed 🙂.

These are the Hibiscus rosa-sinensis hybrid types. Showy and fickle, but I can grow them outside.
When I put seeds & seedlings on the mats, I use the propagators on the right and then string to cinch the lids to the base so the cats can't get at them. Also a temperature regulator so nothing cooks.
Pokey has the best seat. She is in charge, and grabbed the one in the front window where she can see everything going on.

Thank you Wylie for the ID of which Hibiscus.
Good planning to prevent the cats getting at the seeds.
Lol Pokey know the best place then the window will get the best heat too.

I don't see how he can do this - those lights are way too bright! Maybe I should get him some sunglasses.
