They are lovely in bud aren't they....so red. And offering so much promise. And then you also get the red flush on the new leaves later. Such a good evergreen.

Thanks, yes these have so much winter appeal. I love the deep green leaves against the red buds. Some years are better than others. This year - quite a show. It could be due the mild winter we are having.
