Blocked in for days not being able to access the slope to get to my local shops my chair would not fit through the gap the bit of pavement to the left is to my front door the slope access is by the front of this van. If I tried to go over my garden in my chair I would get stuck in the mud and be stuck until some one passed by to help which most will not nowadays as I ve found out. .

I don't understand 3p does this person live there or using your frontage as a parking space ?

No he does nt live in the area Amy he was parking up then getting picked up by his work mate leaving this van from Friday to Monday then came back the day after blocking my public right of way to the slope again. This was putting woman with pushchairs at risk too.

3p Something similar happened to us in our previous home we had a long drive leading down to our property a chap with a big van started parking at the top preventing us from being able to come through we told him nicely a few times but he shouted abuse at us so we rang the company on the side of his van and told them ,they made him stop it immediately ,its worth a try .. good luck ..

I did phone the company twice as he blocked me again Amy but all I got from the company was abuse telling me there was nt any parking restrictions in the lane. I do believe the company belongs to a young girl s dad who parked out side my house who had just moved in she said when her boyfriend get his car she dies nt know how he will find a space so I told her if people know they want and need that many parking spaces they should be buying a house with a drive not buy in a tiny lane with no parking access which she did nt like and mentioned her daddy.

Thats exactly what was happening in our last place 3p , the row of cottages at the end of our drive had a stipulation in their contracts that each cottage had one parking space but invariably each cottage had 2/3 cars per house ,, like you I was saying why buy a place if you knew you couldn't park all your cars ,its madness ..

I feel for you Amy as it sounds you had the same problem like I have here they become bullies and stick together and dont care the inconvenience they cause you or start to argue which you dont need well I dont .They know what days my son comes to help me but get their relatives to park out side my house which he then has to do the same as what I use to do he has to park up the top part of the lane and he is ill himself.
I some times feel like exchanging houses and give them the kind of neighbours they deserve.

🤣🤣🤣 Kate yes I have I ve even asked to see if we can have permit parking for the lane the answer was no the only permit we have is for the Richo now a Rugby ground when there are events pop concerts etc are on. Councils now are only interested in getting money out of you they soon respond if you owe them your lucky if they answer the phone and when they do they pass the book to another department and so on. 🥱
I ve been told if you get a fine for driving in the wrong areas as the signs are nt right and you need the number to pay the fine they fob you off so they can tot up the charges of you not paying up to 9 times. So beware if you ever come here.

I'm pleased to say we don't have the problem since moving 3p , , Its just not fair , can you get some 'cones' and position them on either side of your entrance ? also a sign saying 'No PARKING ' ..

I am so pleased you no longer have to put up with it any more Amy since you moved 😊 may be I should do the same move.

I use to get my daughter to place my bins there to try and stop them when I had a car but people just moved them one woman going to a funeral at the church opposite on the main road she shouted at me when I was coming back from shopping in my car trying to get in to park but she beat me to it she shouted I should think my self lucky I am alive as they are burying a 26 year old so much for Christian people is all I say . Even my son in law who lived opposite on the right of me explained to her when she moved my bins that I needed the space being disabled and zip will be back in a minute.

Yes I have placed a sign Amy reserved parking that got ignored too.

This is what most people are like here all out for them selves it's a rat race.

I'm sorry about all your problems with this 3d. People can be astonishingly rude, selfish and unkind. I hope you find a way to resolve the problem. :)

Thank you Karen I could get a OT to have a hard standing placed their to the left of that lamp post so I could get to the slope which my housing officer suggested I have known cars park in front of the van on the slope in front of the church gates plus being opposite a junction the council would likely refuse it. Here it's not what you know its who you know .

I've never known people to be so cruel and selfish as they are these days , It was on the news this morning about how a blind man is treated and whose dog is kicked /pushed and hit across the face with an umbrella the poor dog is being abused on a daily basis they didn't know how bad it was until they put a camera on him to record it .. what is wrong with these people ?

Neither have I Amy its horrific how society has become. That is appalling for the blind man and especially the dog they have proven people cruel to animals are your next serial killers.

But none of this dose nt surprise me I am very sad to say as they say you lead by your peers government upper class that rules this country. The courts are a lot to be desired nowadays people know they can get away with it. An example below of looking up to your peers.

As one of my daughters told them you would nt expect nor dare treat a poorly animal like that you would have the RSPCA prosecuting you. Then people wonder why society has become like it has.

It's all about greed Amy from the top establoshment watch King Edward the one who abdicated he fought these for better housing to get rid of slums and the poverty up north and Wales it's on you tube he said the institution are the church mps military universities associations also business have became greedy from top to the bottom. Grab as much money back as you can or grab as much as you can.

But we have forgot with our own living today but more cruel than Hitler he put them out if mystery quicker our governments the establishment dont they take money away so you cant afford tp live a decent life eg bill s like heat etc proper food to help you fight diseases quality clothing to keep us warm from our cold damp Then you have the pathway to Liverpool also leaving oaps and a few year later the disabled to die in corridors in our hospitals . Taking benefits away from mental health and others which has caused thousands of deaths by suicide here which has been kept out of the news.. Foòd banks for the poor or low paid workers nearly all with children.
