Yes they give a bit of character some thing different to look at dont they.
You ll have to get over that Paul put a front on your character to hide your shyness you probably have mixed with strong character people which is not your way of life try mixing more with people that have the same interests as you who dont try and brag they are better than you or your things. I stay away from people like that as life is to short to put up with narccistic people who make your life hell.

Your lucky to have good neighbours cant say I have had many of them. That's good you get out in gatherings with her friends lol wallflower as my mum use to tell me and I tell my children a silent tongue keeps a wise head. 😊🤐
