Why are they called "Green"? Is it for their green flowers? Or is it for the colour of their foliage?

They are lovely the Emerald Hebe is a lovely colour too.

Thanks all ,I've no idea David except it is green , i bought one of these Hebes last year and don't recall it ever having any flowers on it I'll keep a closer eye on these this year ...

That was interesting David Thank you for the info ..I'll be keeping an eye on them for flowers this year, strange the ones I already had didn't have flowers maybe they take a year or so to settle in , I'll put a photo on for you if they do bloom :o)
