This needs a good prune. All the fencing behind was due to be replaced in the coming weeks. Unsure if that will happen now owing to the COVID-19 virus and self isolating.

Well done Paul.
Karen, they are blowing like crazy in the cold East wind this morning ... :o(

Yes Shirley..our cheeks were like ice when we got in from walking the dogs earlier. It was very unpleasant.

Karen, I have just come in from the garden at 3.30 and, like you, my face is so cold. I have been digging out what I think were the spreading roots of an Aster. It made me think of Bindweed in its roots, awful stuff to remove. All out now, moved two Roses as we shall have a new path built one day, all put on hold due to COVID-19, and one of the Roses would brush against our legs on the path.
Best part of the day was having a lady Blackbird foraging for worms and grubs right up close to me ... :o))

Hope mine will flourish like this one you have, Shirley. Looking good, despite you mentioning it needs a prune.

Kate, the new red growth on them can be stunning.
