Those of us who live Rural are so much better off at this time aren't we? It must be really hard to get out for a good walk in a built up area where there are so many others trying to do the same thing, and no pavements are 2m across are they? Well, maybe in London...but elsewhere?

My son John and his partner Abi are in Sweden with four and a half acres to wander round in. Abi is setting up raised beds to grow vegetables at the moment. If they were still in London they would be in a tiny bed sitter flat going mad by now.

Yeah...well done John and Abi. They escaped!

WE ONLY WALK ALONG THE ROAD FOR 20 MINUTES AND THEN BACK AGAIN. ONCE A DAY ONLY AND MAKE A VERY WIDE SPACE IF WE DO SEE ANYONE. ALTHOUGH WE STAND APART..WE HAVE TO ALL STAND TOGETHER AND BE THANKFUL FOR THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO ARE STILL WORKING TO HELP US ALL...DUSTMEN, FIREMEEN, POLICE, NHS STAFF AND THE MASSES OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE VOLUNTEERED TO HELP, THE PEOPLE SERVING US IN THE SHOPS, THE WATER COMPANIES, ETC. WE HAVE TO BE THANKFUL TO THEM ALL. I TRY TO KEEP IN CONTACT WITH PEOPLE BY PHONE AND E-MAIL, AND HAVE ORATED MY NEW PRICKLES THE DETECTIVE STORY TO PUT ON TO YOUTUBE FOR THE CHILDREN TO HEAR. WE HAVEN'T QUITE FINISHED IT YET. IT'S A DIFFICULT TIME WE ARE LIVING THROUGH, BUT WE MUST BE STRONG AND WORK TOGETHER IN LOVE.

We are doing the same,Linda, and feel so proud of all the services who are working their socks off to keep us safe..
The Internet is a wonderful way to keep in touch with friends and family.,so at least we don't feel as isolated, when we can chat to them.etc.
We try to walk every day too,as we are also fortunate to be within walking distance of open spaces, which is such a bonus..
Take care, and stay safe, and we will get through this..xxx

You have nt offended me Karen was just showing you not to be naiee believing all what the government tells us .
Even with Spanish flu a governor in the USA isolated his county that did nt work. A town in the USA put a sign up quarenteen do not stop that did nt work it was the post man who bought it in .
One of grandsons is a manager has to do deliverys of food I try and teach them all what my mum taught me. When we were kids polio diphtheria small pox whooping cough was rife all carried by droplets if any one sneezed or coughed by us my mum would wash our face immediately then wash our hands.
