KEEP SAFE AND WELL PAUL. WE ARE TRYING ONLINE SHOPPING BUT IT'S NOT EASY TO GET A SLOT. WE DID GET AN ORDER ACCEPTED FROM THE GREENGROCER DOWN THE ROAD. THEY ARE DOING ONLINE BASKETS DELIVERIES LOCALLY. WE CAN'T RISK SHOPPING AS I AM AT THE MOMENT. THERE ARE A LOT OF GOOD PEOPLE TRYING TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY IN DIFFERENT WAYS AND WHERE WOULD WE BE WITHOUT THEM. THANKYOU TO THEM. LOVE, HOPE FAITH AND RAINBOWS......

Thank you for your kind messages everybody. My mom took a tumble and broke her arm. So now it's my task to look after her and do all the shopping and care taking in addition to working with a skeleton crew of healthcare workers at the hospital. I must get up at 7am to do the grocery shopping. It's very difficult, but I'm forced to focus on the moment at hand.

YOU ARE A GOOD SON TO LOOK AFTER YOUR MUM AND I HOPE SHE MAKES A GOOD RECOVERY.

These are rough times for sure but I'm certain things will improve shortly. I prefer to physically go to the grocery store to take advantage of specials and for those things I didn't know I needed. Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. We are learning patience and perseverance and how to live frugally...and enjoying your writings.

I hope your mum is doing ok, Paul? Very frightening for her when that happened. Well, for both of you. Are you going backwards and forwards from home to the hospital? As Linda said, you are invaluable to her indeed. She will be so pleased that you are there for her, it’s less anxiety I’d think.
Hope you are ok too? Getting on that bike and cycling to the store and keeping stocked up for you and your Mum.
It’s tough enough without the addition of a pandemic virus.

Thank you so much Kate. Yes it was a real shock when she fell. She's always been a very strong independent person. She fell coming out of the bank and broke her arm. She's getting stronger each day. I do have to do everything for her. I'm also working from home which is an additional task. Today I may try to get out on my bike someplace - just to escape for an hour or so. Thank you so much for you kind comments. They really do help. XX
