The Duck Pond

What a beatiful place looks so tranquil.

That looks positively rural . . . New York?!

LOL believe it or not, NY has quite a few hidden gems like this. This pond is actually a running estuary which never becomes stagnant. It flows into the Jamaica Wildlife Preserve - a huge swath of undeveloped land.

It sure is..and it changes with the season. Good ice skating if it's cold enough.

All sounds very appealing. Ice skating too..must look quite picturesque all year round.
