Flower bending after the day's rain. There is a second plant developing alongside.

Very nice! I love something different.

The flower should be upright, like a red hot poker shape. Maybe if it's sunny, Sunday it will improve it's appearance.

How unusual but I love it.

I have a white of this found at the nursery.

Homebird, Bananas! The plant was just desperate for a drink. The flower is upright after 20mm of rain overnight after about 4 weeks of nothing.
Thorney, Would that be Asphodeline taurica? That's the only one I know with white flowers.

You got me going there Siris. I looked through all pages of my pics to find nothing. Then a light bulb moment! I asked a question back in 2015 because I had no idea what it was. It was agreed it was Asphodelus but not smelling of onions as someone suggested. Almost like a white kniphofia to look at at first. Whether it's taurica or not I don't know but if you look in my questions you might know.

THORNEY. your photo looks like ASPHODELUS ALBA. If you look at my pics March 29 and April 2 2020, there are pics of mine opening, but if you missed them, here is a compilation.

Dd, probably too late and too young to flower this year. The clump of leaves are interesting, hint of blue/green and look like huge pine needles.

Yes thatโ€™s what attracted me......and the 2.00 price tag......

Oh, that was good value, Dd.
