Should do well in your rockery - they come in various colors. I love how it spreads along the ground choking out weeds. It has a very long bloom period - over a month. Keeping the soil moist would extend the bloom period yet further. I'm looking for a blue one to put beside it.

Thank you very much Kate. Mom is doing better each day though she still has a way to go. She's more mobile now but has to stay home bound until she is fully recovered - so she's social isolated by default. She actually took up knitting again. Can you believe it? Knitting is actually good therapy for motor skills and good mental exercise. I hope she's not making me another blanket! lol that's all i need. I have 3 already - maybe for the living room sofa or as a wall hanging?

Now that is good news, Paul! She must be made of tough stuff! It’ll take time I guess for her to recover, but, it sounds like she has great support, especially from yourself. Knitting is definitely good therapy, I have to agree. It’s known to keep you focused and work on mental stress and anxiety, plus, as you also said, good for motor function and exercise. A possible fourth blanket you say? I’m sure you’ll find a spot in your home somewhere..or it could be worse..knitted underwear! ;-))
