Prunus Sandcherry

Prunus Sandcherry

Nice red leaves and just starting to bloom. Nicely scented, puts out small black cherries loved by birds and wildlife.

Thanks, It makes a very nice centerpiece and doesn't grow too big. Perfect for a small border.

What a pretty detailed blossom, love the red leaves too, a change from the green. Cherries must be a gift too..

Thanks very ornamental - I've wanted this tree for a long time and I finally found it on clearance for 70% off. Can't go wrong. The cherries are very ornamental but get gobbled up in short order - even before they are fully ripen. I'm glad somebody is enjoying them - theif! lol. At least I never have a mess to clean up or little cherry saplings. Somebody keeps scuffing my cherries.

That’s a great buy at 70% off! Lucky you! I like it as it’s just that bit different from the norm. Must be like haute cuisine for the wildlife!

Yep, somebody must be spying me. They wait until I'm not home, then suddenly all the cherries are gone! That's what a blue jay would do. lol
