Thanks Balcony, it's having a good drench of rainfall this morning.

About time we had some rain! (Who would have thought we were longing for some rain after the warm, wet winter we've had!)

Exactly Balcony! Today is the last day of April and, according to the forecast, it is sun and showers all day.

Well we certainly had some showers here! One of those days when you get all 4 seasons in 1 day! We had some lovely sunshine in the morning then some clouds & a little drizzle with a cold wind much of the time. Then during the evening we had a couple of really hefty showers. Eventually we also had hail! I had to run out onto the balcony to remove my begonias in pots in rings on the railings. If I hadn't done so the hailstones would have ripped the newly formed foliage to bits!

All my pots got flooded such was the amount of rain we had! Once the rain stopped & the sun came out again I had to go back out & empty all the plates & saucers! The 5 hanging baskets had continuos streams of water pouring out of them! At least I won't need to water them for a week or two!

Seems we had almost the same weather conditions as you - hail stones bouncing off the grass and patio at about 5pm yesterday - strange!
