Oh, I think you are on to a winner there Kate! They are very rewarding ramblers. I haven't grown one for a long time. I used to have two or three in my first garden and one was scented....now...what was it I think it was montana rubens. But a few of them have a nice vanilla scent.

Thanks Karen, I hope so! I’ll check which one it is again today, I’ll look at the label in the shed. I hope it rambles all over...I’m hoping it’ll exude some sort of fragrance too, like you say. I think it has a dozen flowers currently with many buds yet to open.

You will love it Kate ,I have two in my garden one on the garage wall and one on the garden wall both have spread as far as they can in either direction ..
