Slugs loved it the first year....this year they seem to have left it alone.Bold dark leaves, with lovely contrast to its golden yellow flowers...Compact growth.

Not heard of this Ligularia before, slugs don't touch my mighty ones. All the evils of the world come out of Pandora's box supposedly, slugs! Pandora is a type of mollusc!

Don't know, Meadowland, don't use pellets, maybe the wildlife keeps them down?

I dug out both of mine last autumn because they were such a slugfeast. This is nice...a lot more compact and prettier. Isn’t it strange that the slugs haven’t troubled it. I wonder if they suffered with all that autumn rain!
